Sonia Gomes Anna Maria Maiolino Solange Pessoa

For the second exhibition of the semester, NEST is presenting works by the three Brazil-based women artists Sonia Gomes, Anna Maria Maiolino and Solange Pessoa, whose culturally engaged pieces evolve around the typologies, history and traditions of Brazil. All works are part of the Ursula Hauser Collection and will be shown in a new, more accessible exhibition space adjacent to the entry hall of Toni-Areal, 3.T06. This show is curated collectively by BA Fine Arts students in the module ART & EXHIBITING (Floyd Bolliger, Miriam Borella, Olivia Brantschen, Mia Butter, Schahed Javanbakhsh, Oliver Kuemmerli, Shaoqing Li, Lena Lopez, Marco Mauerhofer, Elio Mueller, Anton Nikitin, Samira Ruschetta, Yfke Schenkel, Helena Stadlin, Andrei Stanescu, Kristoffer Varming), led by Laura Bechter & Dr. Gabrielle Schaad.
